Hang Tuah and friends is a prominent legendary figure in Malaysia's popular culture. Their story and spirit seems to affect how the history is shape. Taking the spirits of their friendship and their bravery the reincarnation of this spirit is transform into Tuah band consist of Toa, Jibo, Qory, Leqi & Leqoo.
Tuah are proud of their tradition. They grew up together and start playing music together from their younger age. They always fascinated with the sounds of traditional music and always dreamed to take it to higher level.
Their ambition doesn't stop there. Powered by ancient relic that they accidentally released in the cave, it turn out to be that they did not found the relic but the relic found them because of their values and trustworthiness. Set up not so far in the future, here come the music band with superpowers to save the world!
Via this project, we at Tonemusic want to develop a music band in 3 different platforms; animated movie, virtual band and real-time LIVE performer. TUAH will be an animated virtual band playing their composition of local traditional music and Pencak Silat, fused into contemporary genre to attract younger generation and spark interest to our local tradition. Using Unreal Engine + MOCAP technologies, we want to produce the fusion compositing and TUAH will be animated live, realtime.
With HCI human computer interaction, we can set the new style in producing animation films in Malaysia.
